Network Opposes Iraq War

The Network has oppopsed war in Iraq even before its inception in March, 2002.  We have vigiled and educated the community on the false premises and costs of the war for the past eight years.  Not only has this unjustified and pre-emptive invasion of another country served to help bancrupt our own government, it has also killed over a million Iraqi civilians and destroyed a sophisticated nation with an ancient culture.

We continue to speak out about the destructive consequences of this ill-conceived war, campaign for its end, and call upon our leaders to negotiate a just and lasting peace in the Middle East.
